How old is old?

Well, since I last blogged - and that was too long ago, I have reached the official age to be classified as a senior aka pensioner. My theory has always been "If you didn't know how old you were, how old would you be?" Pick a number and be that age. I must concentrate on how to get some pictures on this page. I have finished knitting a great pair of wrist warmers that I have to block so that the ends stop curling. Now I'm back to my "Best Friend" jacket that is from Sally Melville's book "Knit". It's a lot of knitting - knit from the left cuff to the right cuff - all one piece.

Weather forecast calling for snow, freezing rain, hail, etc. for a pile 20-25cm. Naw, it will probably be about 10cm at the worst but I have a big pile of firewood and a lecky blanket and a big bottle of Pinot Gregio - bring it on.

Ma says - weather will be whatever it is whether you like it or not.

Victoria countdown.

Well, I have only 2 more days of vacation in Victoria, BC. Back to the snow.

I belong to a "Games" group called "The Spritzers" which consists of these three lovely ladies and me. Small club but it works for us. We do play games but mostly we talk and drink 'Spritzers'. This picture was taken in December 2006.

Well, today is the first day of personal blogging. The MO of this site will probably consist of family, friends, knitting projects (WIP and completed) and rants, which are what I do best. Don't be afraid to criticize - I am very good at ignoring criticism.
